The Japan Association of Independent Directors (JAID) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving corporate governance in Japan. Members consist mainly of directors and shareholders of foreign-owned companies in Japan. JAID supports independent directors through education, networking, and other resources. Our aim is to modernize corporate governance, strengthen internal control, enhance board accountability, facilitate professional development, and promote dialogue among directors.
