Profile
JAID is a non-profit organization devoted to improving corporate governance in Japan. Members consist mainly of directors and shareholders of foreign-owned companies in Japan. JAID supports independent directors through education, networking, and other resources.
Mission Statement
JAID seeks to improve corporate governance, strengthen internal controls, and enhance board accountability. This goal is achieved by providing educational opportunities, access to resources, information on new developments and regulatory changes, and by promoting dialogue.
